Dr. Matthew Paldy, PhD, LP
My background includes degrees from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Stony Brook University, the University of Rhode Island, followed by six years of psychoanalytic training at the National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis (NPAP) and the Theodor Reik Clinical Center in Manhattan.
Prior to my clinical practice, I had broad experience consulting and working in both business and academic environments. I worked with organizations including Chase, Simon & Schuster, UBS/Credit Suisse, The College Board, and American Express. I taught management at the university level, led teacher-training programs for NYC public schools, and developed the Critical Thinking Program for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
This breadth of experience provides me with a grounded perspective on the complex life stressors my clients navigate. In the face of grief and trauma, this background helps me offer a steady, practical presence as we work together to find a way forward.
I welcome the opportunity to speak with you to see how we might work together.
